Alert System
The alert system is really neat. Can I add my husband's email address to my registration?
It would be better for your husband to have his own registration. The registration information is minimal requiring a name, email address, and a single phone number. Having an email address tied to a single individual makes troubleshooting problems easier. It also allows us to know who is having email problems.
Can you please provide some guidance as to who exactly should register?
- Anyone who will be assisting with the maintenance of the SevenLakesTennis.net site. We can grant access to many of the administration pages to registered users.
- The Players
- The Coaches or Tennis Mom may need to contact the player. The registration information is available to our administrators.
- The player needs to receive alerts. Last minute changes will be broadcast using alerts.
- The Parents
- All relevant information will be published on the web site.
- The parents need to receive alerts.
Here is an example. The player has an IPhone and an receives email on his IPhone. Both Mom and Dad attend the meets when possible. Mom works and has a both a personal email address and a business email address. Dad only uses his business email and wants to keep up with any last minute changes.
- The player registers and provides the email address and phone number of his iPhone.
- Mom registers and providing phone numbers. Mom sets the "Primary Email: to her home address and sets here optional email to her business address.
- Dad registers and sets his primary email to his business email address.
